The research set out to determine the amount of power that could be generated from the utilization of rooftop spaces on the College of Engineering, Afe Babalola University Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria. In so doing, the total surface areas, useful surface areas and the number of panels that could be fitted onto the rooftops were obtained. This data represents the total roof surface areas and useful roof surface areas (for the installation of 300W solar PV panels) of the College. It also represents the number of solar PV panels that can be fit onto the different rooftop orientations of each building (wing) in the College. The rated capacity of each orientation of the rooftop can also be obtained with the use of this dat
