The following database contains the data obtained by a cross-sectional survey conducted among 395 Advanced Level students studying in four schools of the Colombo Educational Zone, Sri Lanka. It was the aim of this study to determine the prevalence and associations of Internet Gaming Disorder among a Sri Lankan student population. Participants filled a pretested, self-administered questionnaire exploring sociodemographic factors, academic characteristics, extra-curricular involvement, sleep factors and gaming habits/preferences.
