The paper tests the effect of work participation on the prevalence of spousal violence for urban India using NFHS-4 data. The unit level data is available from Demographic Health Survey (DHS) data repository and could be accessed upon a data request through www.dhsprogram.com/data/. The do file explains how the data is created from the NFHS-4 files available online and has codes for all the tables created in the paper
