Information and communication technologies (ICT) have revolutionized modern organizations by assisting them to increase operational effectiveness and efficiency. The knowledge-based companies can benefit enormously by deploying ICT. However, healthcare organizations such as hospitals are lagging in adopting ICT. This is particularly true for the developing countries where managers faced both financial and social obstacles in implementing such technologies.
