McDaniel - Pappas Floridiana Collection : A Collection Guide

Doris J. (Jeannie) McDaniel-Pappas, a Florida native and alumni of Eckerd College’s Program for Experienced Learners, donated this collection of postcards and brochures to the Nelson Poynter Memorial Library on 30 July 2007. Jeannie and her husband, Andrew M. Pappas Sr., collected these items during their family vacations. Materials cover locations in St. Petersburg, greater Pinellas County, other parts of Florida (with a strong emphasis on the Florida Keys/Key West, and some locations outside of Florida (most notably the Bahamas). Most of the materials date from the mid-1970s into the early to mid-1980s
