This article proposes a synthesis of two Casdar projects (Phytoel, RED-SPyCE), on the effect of the association of livestock and crops on the use of inputs, by mobilizing Ecophyto ans Inosys databases. Phytoel also realized the co-design of efficient systems, combining the skills of farmers and agronomists and zootechnicians, to reduce by 50% the use of pesticides, trough crop-livestock reconnection. REDSPyCE produced the NICC'EL tool, which allowed to evaluate ex-post this integration. The analysis of the Phytoel databases shows that cropping systems, associated with livestock, use 43% less pesticides than cropping systems without animals. This reduction is related to fodder surfaces, crop practices and the crop destination to sale or feed...
