Therapeutic Assessment (TA) continues to expand its use in the field of psychological assessment due to TA\u27s ability to bring the client in as a collaborator and increase the client\u27s awareness and understanding of the presenting problem. While forensic assessment tends to follow a more structured format, certain TA techniques, such as feedback and discussion, could help to increase examinee awareness and knowledge about not only themselves, but how they function within their day to day life and within varying forensic systems.
