The concept of information is central to philosopher Martin Heidegger’s work; we take advantage of this opportunity in order to better understand the movement of demediation in relation to the expansion of algorithmic logic. We observe how the logical foundations of information and the desire for unambiguous meaning are converted into the feedback loop by cybernetics, allowing regulation and management to replace institutions as a new form of governmentality
