Leopold Krämer Collection 1907-1959

This collection contains Leopold Kraemer's certification documents as a teacher and cantor, professional recommendations, and liturgical sheet music.Leopold Krämer was born in 1884 in Mönchsroth (Mittelfranken). Before serving in the first World War, he trained as a cantor at the Berliner Rabbinerseminar (Bet ha-midrash le-Rabanim be-Berlin), and was employed in various communities including Berlin, Dresden, and Chemnitz, before emigrating to Bolivia in 1939.
