Abba Eban collection 1955,1959, 1962, 1987

The collection consists of 4 items relating to Abba Eban's career as one of Israel's foremost statesmen. Contains a pamphlet of a 1955 address delivered at University of Notre Dame entitled "Modern Israel," and a reprint of an essay on Jewish Heritage from the 1962 New Jewish Encyclopedia. Also contains two programs from events held in Eban's honor, one, a 1959 testimonial dinner upon Eban's return to Israel after 10 years in the United States while serving as Israel's representative to the United Nations and her Ambassador to the United States, which is autographed by Eban.
