International audienceAbstract: The temple of Apollo whose construction began in the sanctuary of Claros in the late 4th century BC was a peripteral Doric temple with a five degrees krepis , five columns on the short sides and eleven on the long ones. His sékos included a vestibule and a hypaethros courtyard, where stood a well, whose water was the inspiration for the oracle. Ongoing work in the 2nd century BC led to the installation of a two-room crypt at the location of the court. A corridor built under the pronaos led to it. Above the crypt a naos was created, at the back of which a group of statues representing the Apollonian triad was erected.
