The Ernest Loeb Collection holds the papers of Ernest Loeb and his family members. The collection is comprised of correspondence, personal documents, genealogical material, and a few photographs.The bulk of the collection consists of correspondence, especially letters concerning emigration and the escape from occupied France. Later letters include those from the mayor of Mutterstadt. Ernest Loeb's correspondence includes letters from his incarceration in Gurs and Les Milles concentration camps. Other correspondence includes that of Jakob Loeb, who emigrated to Cuba, and Ferdinand Loeb who was also imprisoned in Gurs Concentration Camp.
