Captain Marcus, Jewish Chaplain with the 23rd Tactical Air Command, has been awarded the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service in connection with military operations against the enemy from May 24, 1944 to May 8, 1945. Captain Marcus ministered to the religious needs of his men and brought comfort to the wounded through the period of the aerial offensive, and the campaigns in Normandy, Southern France, and Germany.Digital imag
