From a spiritual point of view, his work belongs to a group of ambiguous statements, which might have launched legal prosecutions, in the context of persecution of mysticism during the early years of the 17th century. Can we estimate the author's authority? In other words, what kind of value, poetical and spiritual, was granted his work? We investigate on the one hand the fashion of C.
