Griffiths is a Gerontologist and Health Research Scientist at the Atlanta VA Medical Center's Rehabilitation Research and Development Center. Dr. Griffiths is an investigator in the Department of Veterans Affairs Birmingham/Atlanta Geriatric Research Education and Clinical Center and an Assistant Professor in the Division of Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology at Emory University in Atlanta. She earned her B.S. in Psychology Summa Cum Laude from Trinity College of VT followed by a MS. and Ph.D. in Life-Span Developmental Psychology from the Pennsylvania State University.
