D’Shane Barnett is the new Director and Health Officer of the Missoula City-County Health Department. Prior to that D’Shane served as Executive Director for All Nations Health Center, an organization dedicated to providing sustainable healthy lives for Native People and the broader community through culturally based, holistic care. D’Shane earned his bachelors degree in sociology from the University of Montana, got a masters in health administration from UCSF, and is now working on his doctoral degree in public health here at UM.
