This MEC #3 was a 0-4-4 & was built at the Portland Works in May of 1871. It has a rather interesting history and if I\u27ve decoded all the notes in the R&LHS RR History #152 properly..... It was delivered to the Sebasticook & Moosehead RR in 1892 and ran as S&M#2. In 1896 MEC acquired the locomotive and numbered it #105. In 1900 MEC renumbered much of it\u27s locomotive inventory and #105 became MEC #3. /DLhttps://digitalmaine.com/larrabee_railroad_images/1004/thumbnail.jp
