This study includes the chemically isolated detrital fractions from Pacific Ocean sediment cores and likely source regions. The objective of this dataset was to determine if Pb isotope ratios in detrital fractions could reconstruct dust sources and potential changes in the location of the Intertropical Convergence Zone. Samples were processed at the University of California at Santa Cruz (UCSC) and measured both there and at University of California at Davis
