Kecemasan Wanita Menghadapi Menopause

Menopause is something that will physiologically be experienced by a woman. Women will experience various changes, the change will affect the quality of life of women in pre-menopausal times and experience anxiety. The purpose of this study is to describe anxiety in the face of menopause. The subjects of this study were 5 women in Surakarta with informant characteristics that will be used by pre-menopausal women aged 40-48 years. This study uses a qualitative approach. The data collection used in this study was a semi-structured interview. The data analysis technique used is discrete analysis. The study found that all five subjects experienced anxiety before menopause indicated by the subject's unpreparedness to face menopause made the subject feel confused, worried, afraid of how it would be when entering menopause. The subject felt worried and minder due to physical and psychological changes that occurred before menopause. The main factor that causes the subject's concern is the number of complaints and protests made the husband feel afraid if later can not satisfy again during menopause
