PENGARUH VARIABEL MAKROEKONOMI TERHADAP PROFITABILITAS PT.BANK MANDIRI SYARIAH PERIODE 2014-2020

This study aims to determine the effect of macroeconomic variables, namely Inflation, Exchange Rate, GDP, and SBIS on the Profitability of Bank Mandiri Syariah which is projected by Return On Assets (ROA). This research was conducted using quantitative methods with secondary data obtained from the official websites of Bank Syariah Mandiri, BI, and BPS. The data used are time series data from March 2014 to September 2020. The data analysis uses a basic assumption test consisting of: (a) Multicollinearity Test; (b) Normality Test; (c) Linearity Test; (d) Autocorrelation Test; (e) Heteroscedasticity Test. Then used statistical tests consisting of: (a) t test; (b)test F; and (c) Coefficient of Determination Test. Based on the results of this study, the following conclusions were obtained: (a) Inflation has a negative and significant effect on Return On Assets (ROA); (b) GDP has a positive and significant effect on Return On Assets (ROA); (c) Exchange rate has a negative and significant effect on Return On Assets (d) SBIS has a positive and insignificant effect on Return On Assets (ROA): (e) Inflation. Exchange rate, GDP, together have a significant effect on Return On Assets (ROA); (d) Inflation Variable. Exchange rate, GDP, and SBIS were able to explain 0.504826 or 50.48%, of the change in the value of the Return Of Assets (ROA) of PT Bank Mandiri Syariah
