This study looks at CDC's social media and crisis messaging strategy during March and April of 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study is a case study that looks at the different messaging strategies used for different crisis messaging phases, analyzes the way in which CDC handled the changing of information with the mask recommendation, and how CDC responded to the politicization of the pandemic, specifically looking at CDC's response at President Trump's messages.Bachelor of Art
