Allaitement et santé bucco-dentaire du nourrisson

Breastfeeding is defined as feeding your baby with your milk. It is a major subject of global and French health policies. As part of this work, we will first study the history of breastfeeding and the associated epidemiology today. In a second part, we will seek to understand the impact of breastfeeding on the oral health of infants. Finally, in a last part, we will present the results of a survey distributed to French dentists and orthodontists on their knowledge of breastfeeding.L’allaitement se définit comme le fait de nourrir de son lait son nourrisson. C’est un sujet majeur des politiques de santé mondiale et française. Dans le cadre de ce travail, nous étudierons dans une première partie l’historique de l’allaitement et l’épidémiologie associée de nos jours. Dans une deuxième partie, nous chercherons à connaitre l’impact de l’allaitement sur la santé buccodentaire du nourrisson. Enfin dans une dernière partie nous présenterons les résultats d’un questionnaire diffusé aux chirurgiens-dentistes et orthodontistes français sur leurs connaissances en matière d’allaitement
