International audienceFrench official curricula ask upper secondary school teachers to teach quantum physics since 2012. From an epistemological point of view, one of the main problems to understand quantum physics is related to the quantum object reference. On the basis the historical construction of quantum physics, we identified two epistemological postures: the first one is referred as conservative (close to the so-called "Copenhagues' school") and the second one as innovative (associated with Bunge's work and Levy-Leblond). Once these postures defined, we analyze French textbooks used by teachers, in order to reveal the implicit adopted postures.
