The importance of the notification system for diseases and health diseases: integrative review

An integrative review (IR) was carried out, consisting of six steps: problem identification (preparation of the guiding question, choice of descriptors and criteria for inclusion/exclusion of articles); search for articles in the literature; categorization of studies; sample evaluation; synthesis of the analyzed articles; interpretation of results. To guide this review, the following guiding question was formulated: "What is the importance of the Notification System for Disease and Health Problems in times of pandemic?" The search for published articles took place between June and August of 2020, used as Descriptors in Health Sciences notification of “disease/disease notification AND epidemiology/epidemiology”, “health information system/health information system AND notification/notification” , the research was carried out in the advanced search of the Virtual Health Library (VHL) and the Pubmed portal, considering articles published in the years 2010 to 2020, available in full, that answered the guiding question, with no cost of access and published in the language English, Portuguese and/or Spanish.44Foi realizado uma revisão integrativa (RI) Composta de seis etapas: identificação do problema (elaboração da pergunta norteadora, escolha dos descritores e dos critérios para inclusão/exclusão de artigos); busca dos artigos na literatura; categorização dos estudos; avaliação da amostra; síntese dos artigos analisados; interpretação dos resultados. Para guiar esta revisão, formulou-se a seguinte pergunta norteadora: “Qual a importância do Sistema de Notificação de Doença e Agravos em Saúde em tempos de pandemia?” A busca dos artigos publicados ocorreu entre junho a agosto do ano de 2020, utilizados como Descritores em Ciências da Saúde notificação de “doenças/disease notification AND epidemiologia/epidemiology”, “sistema de informação de saúde/health information system AND notificação/notification”, a pesquisa foi realizada na busca avançada da Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS) e no portal Pubmed, sendo considerados artigos publicados nos anos de 2010 a 2020, disponíveis na integra, que respondessem a pergunta norteadora, sem custo de acesso e publicados na língua inglesa, portuguesa e/ou espanhol
