Expierence of feelings related with anxiety of adolescents who is treating in rehabilitation hospital in art therapy process

Aim of the research – to do analysis of feelings related with axiety of adolescents who is treating in rehabilitation hospital in art therapy process. Quastions of research: 1. what is expierence of feelings related with anxiety of adolescents who is treating in rehabilitation hospital in art therapy process; 2. how did change the level of anxiety in HAD scale compare the results before and after art therapy sessions. Research methodology. For the research were selected two 16 years old adolescents, who were suffering from anxiety, they level of anxiety was assessed by using HAD form. The number of sessions in both cases was similar – 8 and 9, it was related with duration of being in rehabilitation hospital. The girls were applying indivudual sessions of art therapy, preliminary program was provided in advance by refering results of HAD forms. Part of creative tasks was planned, others were developed in process and were used purposeful by identifying relevant theme. Was made analysis of drawings. The process was complex – was analysed not only artistic but also verbal expression. Interviews with girls were recorded and verbal information was transcribed and analysed seeking to formulate main themes. Each theme was described separately making analysis of art therapy whole – drawings, interviews, body language of girls, reactions. When all sessions of art therapy were finished, investigative adolescents were asked to fill the HAD form seeking to assess changes in their index of anxiety. Research findings. 1. By making thematic analysis of verbal expression it was find out the experience of feelings in individual themes. The analysis of feelings related with anxiety reveal that the most frequent feeling that participants were mentioned is a fair. Other feelings exposed in process of art therapy: loneliness, isolation, anger, hate, disappointment, sadness, panic, shame, unsecurity, lose of integrity, being hurt. 2. By analizing drawings of participants in criterions of using colour, composition and measures were turn out indivudual differences of expression of feelings. Dynamics of expression in one participant's case reveal in aspects of using composition, colour and measures: from empty space in paper to completed, from monochromatic colours to multicolored coloring, from constrained movements to free. In other participant's case dynamics of drawings reveal by aspect of color: from monochromatic (black, white, grey) to multicolored. 3. By analizing links between themes and drawings it was emerged that feelings related with anxiety were revealed, experienced one more time and integrated. The most difficult expierence was depict in monochromatic colours, pleasent and positve feelings were depict in bright and lush colours, in free movements, in use of central composition. 4.
