Clima escolar y aseguramiento del aprendizaje de las matemáticas

The purpose of this research was to know the perceptions of teachers about citizenship competencies and their added value, for the improvement of school coexistence. A quantitative approach was used, under the Inductive paradigm, with a non-experimental, transectional, descriptive research design. The technique used in the present study consisted of a survey, in which a questionnaire was selected as an instrument that was applied to 30 teachers from the targeted educational institution. The results obtained finally showed that the teachers consider the interaction between them and the families, students and even the community to be positive; They highlight the obvious manifestations of discrimination, along with situations of conflict, bullying and cyberbullying, which are on the increase and directly affect school coexistence; Likewise, they consider permissiveness in the education given at home, added to the negative influence of the environment and the little training in values, as factors that generate school conflicts that directly influence the high levels of school failure and the consumption of psychoactive substances among some students. The different types of aggressions are more frequent among the members of the student community which are detected by the teachers, who intervene to prevent and solve them, however, despite the training received in school coexistence and civic competencies, it is considered that these they are not enough, since conflicts continue to arise in high proportions and due to the inadequate handling of them, the origin of the problem is not being combated.La presente investigación tuvo como propósito conocer las percepciones de los docentes sobre las competencias ciudadanas y su valor agregado, para la mejora de la convivencia escolar. Se utilizó un enfoque cuantitativo, bajo el paradigma Inductivo, con un diseño de investigación no experimental, transeccional, de alcance descriptivo. La técnica empleada en el presente estudio consistió en una encuesta, en la cual se seleccionó como instrumento un cuestionario que fue aplicado a 30 docentes de la institución educativa focalizada. Los resultados arrojados mostraron finalmente que los docentes consideran positiva la interacción entre ellos y las familias, estudiantes e incluso comunidad; resaltan las evidentes manifestaciones de discriminación, junto con las situaciones de conflictividad, bullying y ciberbullying, las cuales están en aumento y afectan directamente la convivencia escolar; así mismo consideran la permisividad en la educación impartida en casa, sumada a la influencia negativa del entorno y la poca formación en valores, como factores generadores de conflictos escolares que influyen directamente en los altos niveles de fracaso escolar y el consumo de sustancias psicoactivas entre algunos estudiantes. Los diferentes tipos de agresiones son más frecuentes entre los miembros de la comunidad estudiantil los cuales son detectados por los docentes, quienes intervienen para prevenirlos y resolverlos, sin embargo, a pesar de las capacitaciones recibidas en convivencia escolar y competencias ciudadanas, se considera que éstas no son suficientes, pues se siguen presentando conflictos en altas proporciones y por el manejo inadecuado de los mismos, no se está combatiendo el origen de la problemática
