International audienceFollowing the discovery concerning a whole Bas-Briton - both male and female - genealogy lineage, the goal of this article is to re-examine the history of the Briton migrations in the course of the nineteenth and the first part of the twentieth centuries. Contrary to a historiography most of the time focused on long distance migrations heading outside Brittany, the survey takes into account all the migrating movements by the members of a same family, inside as well as outside the region. The article analyses the scattering of that family, generation after generation, and underlines the ability to remain on the native land.
