In this paper, a two-dimensional computational model is implemented to study all the necessary phenomena in a simple one-stage wire-plate electrostatic precipitator by considering the interactions between the electrostatic field, the flow field, the charge of the particles and their turbulent structure. This model includes determining the electrical conditions (electric field and space charge), the flow pattern induced by the ion wind interaction and the main gas flow, and the path and accumulation of particles under different concentrations at the inlet. This model is simulated in COMSOL software and the results are interpreted
