International audienceOne of the most sophisticated abilities humans have acquired through evolution is the ability to communicate language through its written form. In the past decades, a lot of research has been done trying to explain how the visual system identifies complex words. The main aim of the thesis is to better understand the general mechanisms underlying the recognition of a lexical entry.
