This dataset contains BLAST as well as MACREL predicted AMPs (identified from whole genome sequenced nut crops namely, almond, Chinese chestnut, pecan nut, pistachio nut, walnut) with e-value of <1 and identity percentage ≥ 50. Besides, the data on categorization of the predicted AMPs from the selected whole genome sequenced nut crops based on the key physicochemical properties and the general AMP database (retrieved from DRAMP database) used for blasting against crop protein and MACREL output file were also provided
