International audienceAutomated deployment of software systems in pervasive and open environments is an open issue. There, the topology of target hosts is not always known at design time due either to unforeseen hardware limitations or failures (network links, hosts, etc.) or to device arrival and disappearance. Rather than manually building and executing a static deployment plan, as it is usually done, our approach promotes the specification of deployment properties (requirements and constraints), then their handling by a middleware for autonomic deployment.
