Data from five series of movable bed laboratory experiments are presented herein. These experiments were conducted in the Largescale Sediment Transport Facility at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center, Vicksburg, MS. The data collected from these experiments are being used to improve longshore sand transport relationships under the combined influence of waves and currents and the enhancement of predictive numerical models of beach morphology evolution, in particular, with respect to modeling of tombolo development at detached breakwates and T-groins.
