Baseball is one of the most statistically analyzed sports, simply due to the substantial amount of data that is tracked and recorded. In recent years, researchers have been combining technology and math to aid in development of players, such as bat path tracking and pitch recognition, among others. Without the need for specialized equipment and the availability of public data, we can build an intersection of baseball and mathematics. We construct a Markov chain model and build a baseball game simulation based on that model in order to find a new way to maximize our team\u27s ability.
