La novedosa propuesta de reglamento sobre el Estatuto y la financiación de los partidos políticos europeos y las fundaciones políticas europeas

After nine years since the first regulation of political parties at European level with Regulation (EC) nº 2004/2003 and following modification in 2007, the deficit remains essentially to consider funding aspects without providing a true legal statute for these formations. On the occasion of the next European elections in 2014 and as a result of intensive discussions of all political groups in the European Parliament, there is a new proposal for a Regulation which, while is not revolutionary, brings necessary changes to advance in the recognition of the European political parties and European political foundations.Tras nueve años desde la primera regulación de los partidos políticos a escala europea con el Reglamento (CE) nº 2004/2003 y tras las modificaciones aportadas en el 2007, este sigue siendo deficitario al contemplar esencialmente aspectos destinados a la financiación sin otorgar un auténtico estatuto jurídico a estas formaciones.
