Organización del aula de convivencia y efectos en la reducción de conductas contrarias

ABSTRACTThe problems of school life is a phenomenon often discussed in various studies, they all coincide with a series of problems such as: disruptive behavior; indiscipline in the relationships between teachers and students; relational problems among students; lack of family involvement; motivation and academic disinterest, both by students and faculty; absenteeism; the fact of being perceived differently; among others. In Andalusia (Spain), one of the measures proposed to reduce the problems of coexistence is to create classrooms that promotes coexistence a process of reflection by the student / to be served on it. In this work intended explore the effects the mediation classroom is having in reducing conduct contrary, as well as the validity of the proposed that organizational Educational Administration suggests for effective functioning. The sample is composed of 46 centers which belong to the «Red School: Space of Peace» in Andalusia (Spain). An analysis of structural equation modeling which allows for a more comprehensive overview of the phenomenon under study. The analysis of each of the hypotheses confirms the validity of the proposed organizational raised by the administration, although the evidence found show no positive effects on the reduction of conduct contrary.RESUMEN Los problemas de convivencia escolar son un fenómeno frecuentemente analizado en diferentes estudios, en todos ellos se coinciden con una serie de problemáticas como son: conductas disruptivas; indisciplina en las relaciones entre el profesorado y el alumnado; problemas relacionales entre el alumnado; falta de implicación familiar; desmotivación y desinterés académico, tanto por parte del alumnado como del profesorado; absentismo; el hecho de ser percibido diferente; entre otros. En Andalucía (España), una de las medidas presentadas para la reducción de estos problemas de convivencia es la creación de aulas de convivencia que favorezca un proceso de reflexión por parte del alumno/a que sea atendido en ella.Es por ello, que en este trabajo se pretende explorar los efectos que el aula de convivencia está teniendo en la reducción de conductas contrarias, así como la validez de las propuestas organizativas que la Administración Educativa sugiere para su eficaz funcionamiento. Para ello, tomando como muestra a 46 centros de la región de Andalucía, experimentados en el desarrollo de planes de convivencia, se plantea un análisis a través de ecuaciones estructurales, lo que permite tener una visión más global del fenómeno de estudio. El análisis de cada una de las hipótesis que se plantean en el estudio permite confirmar la validez de las propuestas organizativas planteadas por la Administración, si bien, las evidencias encontradas no muestran efectos positivos sobre la disminución de conductas contrarias.
