Final Combat

Fans of Harry Potter , impassioned followers of J.K. Rowling’s universe gathered on the Internet to share their interests, have worked hard over the years to maintain the phenomenal success of the heptalogy. They have enriched the initial work (the “canon”) by adding their own texts (FanFiction) and images (FanArt, of which we see an example here), or by embodying characters from the World of Wizards in games and on social networks. Jenhuggybear illustrates here the final scene of Volume 2, The Chamber of Secrets, where Harry, confronted with the terrible Basilisk, sees the phoenix Fawkes come to his rescue. The use of perspective highlights the contrast between the giant, convoluting serpent and the smallness of the encircled heroes, as well as the supernatural light which emanates from Fawkes and keeps the darkness at bay
