This study deals with the usage of two French linguistic variables traditionally described like phonological variables, liaison and elision, during natural interactions between three children and their own parents. More particularly, the goal of this thesis is to describe the specificities of the child directed speech (CDS) concerning the usage of liaison and elision to test/mesure their impact on the emergency of these phonological variables in the speech of the children.
