International audienceThe notion of spatial justice was developed by Anglo-Saxon radical geographyin the 1970’s. Today it is often used in different contexts, mostly within thefield of urban studies. The central idea in this paper is to demonstrate thata revisited form of the concept of « spatial justice » may be used to promoteinteraction between the very diverse contemporary approaches of geography atevery scale. The theoretical background of political philosophy is presented first,we then elaborate on the use of this concept in geography.
