Collaborer ou coopérer en formation à distance: Un certain apprentissage de l’incertitude

International audienceThis research, which is carried out in the wider context of a PhD in Learning Sciences, aims at describing the social strategies developed by distance learning students struggling against uncertainty. We will first study the notion of cooperation, which we will confront to that of collaboration. Then, we will try and deepen the very definition of uncertainty, both on a global scope and in the specific context of distance learning. Thanks to the analysis of language interactions taken from exchanges on discussion forums, we will finally be able to show on what occasions the learners collaborate or cooperate in order to struggle against this uncertainty.Cette recherche, qui s'inscrit dans le contexte plus large d'un doctorat en science de l'éducation, a pour ambition de décrire les stratégies sociales mises en oeuvre par les apprenants en formation à distance pour lutter contre l'incertitude dans plusieurs de ses dimensions. Nous interrogerons dans un premier temps le terme de coopération, que nous confronterons à celui de collaboration. Puis, nous nous attacherons à étudier ce qu'implique la notion d'incertitude, tant d'un point de vue global qu'en ce qui concerne le contexte spécifique de la formation à distance. Enfin, grâce à l'analyse des interactions langagières relevées dans les échanges sur les différents forums de discussion, nous pourrons montrer à quelles occasions les apprenants collaborent ou coopèrent pour lutter contre l'incertitude
