Les dynamiques de peuplement dans la basse vallée de la Cèze, les méthodes employées au cours de prospections archéologiques pédestres (Languedoc-Roussillon, Gard)

Archaeological sites have finally been classified in order to be able to integrate the program database ArchaeDyn 2 ANR CNRS (Spatial dynamics of settlement and natural resources towards an integrated analysis in the long term, the Prehistory to the Middle Ages), led by MSH in Besançon.Les sites archéologiques étudiés dans le cadre de ces recherches sont pour la plupart «relevés au réel », tous les artefacts identifiés sur la parcelle faisant l’objet d’un enregistrement en terme de type de matériel, et d’un enregistrement en coordonnées Lambert III. Le mobilier a été intégralement prélevé, inventorié, documenté (dessin des formes céramique, macro-photographie) et étudié avec de nombreuses identifications. Les sites étudiés ont également fait l’objet d’une localisation et d’une étude de répartition spatiale des artefacts, sur fond cadastral, grâce à l’emploi d’un Système d’Information Géographique (SIG). Les sites archéologiques ont enfin fait l’objet d’une classification, de manière à pouvoir intégrer la base de données du programme ANR Archaedyn 2 du CNRS (Dynamiques spatiales du peuplement et ressources naturelles : vers une analyse intégrée dans le long terme, de la Préhistoire au Moyen Âge), piloté par la MSH de Besançon
