My thesis focuses on aspects that cover intonation in a representative range of the Central Eastern part of Sardinia: the dialect of Nuoro. After defining the essential melodic structures of the Sardinian Nuoro, I highlighted the strategic elements carrying information within the intonation units, which will help to distinguish declarative and interrogative methods (total issues) and seel at what levels of the sentence they are located (initial absolute, minor or major border) and what physical parameters involved for this purpose.
