Rosa was born in 1866, Adolf was born in 1858.Eva had one younger sister, Frieda (born 1894). Eva Heilberg studied history and sociology in Breslau , Freiburg im Breisgau and Berlin.Her husband, Hans Schäffer was born on April 11, 1886 in Breslau, the son of the factory owner Julius Schäffer and his wife Charlotte, nee Schäfer. During the Weimar Republic, 1919-1933, Hans Schäffer was an influential statesman. The couple had four daughters: Marianne (born 1914), Renate (born 1917), Ruth (born 1920) and Eleonore Elisabet (born 1928). The family fled to Jönköping, Sweden.Hans Schäffer had three brothers, Ernst, Moritz Friedrich and Rudolf. They all faught in World War I, and Moritz fell in 1917 at age 28.A framed relief in clay (slightly cracked) of the profile of Adolf Heilberg has been removed to LBIAO.
