Open-area test site (OATS) calibration is discussed in this tutorial. The calibration is performed according to the CISPR and ANSI/IEEE standards. First, theoretical calculations of the normalized-site-attenuation (NSA) procedure are presented. Then, normalized-site-attenuation measurements of a newly established open-area test site are given. Finally, calibration is done through comparisons.IEEE Antennas and Propagation Societ
