The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs at Georgia Tech is one of eleven universities in the country selected to host a European Union Center of Excellence (EUCE) for the 2008-2011 period. He previously has served as Deputy Head of Cabinet to the Belgian Minister for Foreign Affairs among many other positions during his long tenure at the European Commission. He has held teaching posts at the European Public Finance, University of Saarbrücken, Germany; University of Limburg, Belgium, and taught International Economics at ICHEC, Brussels
