Mestrado em Gestão e Avaliação de Tecnologias em SaúdeObjetivo: Avaliar se o Tonómetro de Não Contacto (TNC) é uma alternativa apropriada ao Tonómetro de Aplanação de Goldmann (TAG) para medir a Pressão Intraocular (PIO). Métodos: A Pressão intraocular (PIO) foi medida através do TNC Topcon CT-80A e pelo TAG AT 900 Haag-Streit, em 106 olhos de 53 pacientes normotensionais e em 82 olhos de 41 pacientes com Glaucoma Primário de Ângulo Aberto (GPAA). Resultados: Os grupos são homogéneos relativamente à idade, ao género, à paquimetria, à queratometria. O TNC dá valores médios superiores aos do TAG, em ambos os olhos e em ambos os grupos.
