International audienceThis paper reexamines the tonology of four "Bamileke" (Mbam-Nkam) languages of Cameroon, Dschang, Ghomala', Ngamambo, and Mankon. It develops an analysis in terms of tone features, both distinctive and nondistinctive. This approach is an viable alternative to analyses which rely on undecomposable tone units, among them the autosegmental approach.Cet article reprend les analyses tonologiques de quatres langues "bamiléké" (Mbam-Nkam) du Cameroun, le dschang, le ghomala', le ngamambo et le mankon, en appliquant une description en termes de traits tonals, tant distinctifs que non distinctifs.
