International audienceThe research project Geomedia (ANR Corpus, 2013-2015) proposes to collect and to analyse a sample of about hundred international RSS feeds produced by newspapers in English and French languages. The central hypothesis of this project is the fact that media are not producing identical visions of the World and more precisely of international relations between states. Similarities or differences between media can be revealed by (1) the comparison of the importance allotted to the same international events, (2) the comparison of time variations in the reporting of events, (3) the comparison of spatial variations in the distribution of countries mentioned and associated in the same news.
