Caring for the older adult is a topic debated and discussed at all levels of today\u27s society. Nurses are expected to educate patients and family members about their medications and care following hospitalization or contact with the health care system. The majority of these patients are elderly. The purpose of the study was to determine if a course on aging would affect the knowledge and biases of nursing students in a Baccalaureate nursing program at a Southeast Florida University.
