It leads to formation of gels, swelling and loss of the mechanical properties of affected concretes. This work aims at giving tools to understand and to help monitoring affected structures. There are three parts, the first deals with the prediction of the swelling on the basis of the ASR chemical mechanisms. The second describes the influence of water on ASR....
