This work develops some approaches for the synthesis of partial information robust output feedback controllers in discrete time systems. In the framework of predictive control the synthesis follows the minimization, at each sampling time, of an upper bound for a quadratic cost associated with an infinite time horizon. The optimization problem which takes into account state and control constraints is described in terms of a semi definite programming one including linear matrix inequalities.
